As a result of a fire that began in an exterior trash chute which damaged portions of a hotel, as well as the metal fire escape structure attached to the building located in Downtown Atlanta, Ga, A & D Painting worked with the on-site general contractor, Engineered Restorations, to help with the painting portion of the restoration efforts.

A & D Painting first pressure washed the entire area that saw fire damage and/or smoke damage in an effort to remove all soot and containment caused by the blaze. Additionally, A & D painting crews hand tooled all areas of rust and original damaged coating. All metal railings and metal decking were then primed using one full coat of Sherwin Williams Kem Kromik Primer and top coated using two full coats Sherwin Williams Pro Industrial DTM Acrylic.

This project was completed during normal business hours in just over one week.
